I just did a refresh of my 2014 gaming pc. I added this motherboard along with an I5-8600 and some 2666 ram. The computer is purring like it hasn’t in years now. I’m very happy with the motherboard. So far everything has been easy. The board looks great in my case. The RGB works pretty well, although white is more blueish but, no big deal. You can also turn the lights off if you like. I set mine to green to match my video card and mouse and keyboard. I have used ASUS boards in my last three builds, and have never been let down. I’m a fan and I recommend this board to anyone wanting a good gaming platform for those who don’t want to overclock but want the rest of the gaming board perks. I wanted the quality audio that ASUS provides on their ROG boards.

So what if you want to reap the benefits of the Coffee Lake platform, but do not need all the exquisite tweaking options and features the more expensive Z370 motherboards offer? Well, pair the H370 with the new Core i5 8600 (non-K), and you’ll have the ability to create a beast of a gaming rig. With an H370 chipset you get most of the features and functionality from that Z370 platform, yet scrap the tweaking and overclocking functions. This effectively means that K model processors are not something you should spend your money on as you cannot OC them easily anyway. Any H370 chipset based motherboard, however, offers plenty of features for both internal and external connectivity. For example, you will spot things like an HDMI port, USB 3.1 ports, six SATA3 ports, and even two M.2 slots. There are Gigabit Ethernet and proper 8-channel HD audio.

ASUS Hit another home run!!! Awesome board if you don’t need all the over-clocking bells and whistles. You have everything you need for an awesome system. Still extremely fast Mo Bo w/ 6 core Intel CPU, Corsair RAM, EVGA Video card. Great audio. Tons of features, just no over-clocking which is fine w/ me. That’s why I bought this board vs. the next level up.

Great little matx motherboard. Was using it for a budget build with an I3-8100. So far setup was easy. All connectors are marked and instruction manual was easy to follow

I used this motherboard for my first PC build. I went the micro ATX and case route. I had zero problems building with this board and zero issues configuring the BIOS. Asus BIOs is really easy to use and the color combination is super nice. I recommend this board to anyone looking at building a gaming computer using a locked 8th gen Intel processor, especially if they are building a micro PC. Not quite a negative, but this board has 2 system fan headers, which is common for mATX mobos. You have to run fan splitters in order to get 3 or more case fans talking with the mobo. Also be aware that the RGB header is only for 12V LEDs.

I will never not buy an ASUS MoBo when building a computer. I have never had a problem with one, and their setup os easy. I made a mistake ONE time amd bought a gigabyte for a budget build. I should have read the reviews. The thing didn’t even work. It kept beeping a code saying it was a CPU error. ASUS ALL THE WAY! GOTTA LOVE THOSE ASUS! I LOVE TO GET ME A HANDFUL OF ASUS ALL DAY! Hahahahhaaaa.

My son, who is an electrical engineer and avid gamer, put this into my PC, along with a new processor and it is just fabulous. If you’re a gamer, the ASUS ROG branded devices are tops.

If you’re going with a locked processor and want to avoid the obnoxious red text on the B360-H from Asus this is basically the same board just monotone. You still have the gamery text it’s just not highlighted in that loud red, have the IO shield pre-installed is definitely a plus as well and the BIOS is super simple to navigate.
